James Clayton is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC, CSP and AACP.

A 1st Class BSc (hons) Physiotherapy graduate from the University of Nottingham, James specialises in MSK physiotherapy across Lancashire and North Manchester, and was previously a first team and academy Physiotherapist at Oldham Athletic A.F.C for many years, where he gained elite sport experience.

Following various post graduate courses, James expanded his scope of practice, knowledge, and experience. He has completed courses in AACP acupuncture, and also gained a PGcert in MSK Ultrasound from Brunel University, enabling him to carry out Ultrasound scans for patients. Moreover, he has experience in the NHS as an MSK sonographer.

He is also a registered non medical prescriber, meaning he can provide private prescriptions to help aid pain relief for patients where needed.

James' combination of MSK, elite sport experience and ultrasonography allows him to undertake detailed assessments and provide high quality treatment and rehabilitation for patients of all ages, ​​helping them to achieve their goals.

The clinic is located just off the M60 with ample parking to its rear, with easy ground floor access.
